Cook With Love:Cucumber Apple Salad


Today we will see a simple yet healthy dish which goes excellent with the main course. An equal proportion of apple with cucumber with lemon juice enhances the taste and makes your meals complete.

Serving 4-5 pax

Ingredients:
1 apple(green or red) cubed
1 cucumber, medium cubed
50g onion sliced
2 green chillies sliced
10 curry leaves
1 tbsp lemon juice
some salt

Steps:
1.Mix all the ingredients together in the bowl and transfer to the fridge.
2.Allow cool for at least 1 hour prior to serve.

Tips:
  • Can be consumed as it is or with rice
  • May garnish with mint leaves to add flavour
  • Do not add the lemon juice excessively as it may spoil the taste
  • Lemon juice can be substituted with 3 tbsp of curd
  • You may opt to drop bird eye chillies if keen to have a little spicy
