Beyond Mat:Bhairava Mudra
Meditation is another page of yoga , the mind works very similar to the physical movements in yoga. Meditation is a useful practice to hold the mind in control and combat various emotional turbulence that we experience in our daily life. In addition, meditation also offers various ways techniques and distinctively belongs to different names as yoga. So today we will see in-depth about a meditation technique called Bhairva Mudra. Lord Shiva in fearsome form is called Bhairava. This also depicts the immense strength and power of the lord. Bhairava is a symbolic, ritualistic gesture of the hands often used in a spiritual yoga practice to produce a balanced energy flow during meditation.
In this mudra, the right hand is placed on top of the left hand with the palms facing up. It is called bhairavi mudra when the left hand can also be placed on the right hand.
The benefits of doing this mudra are as follows:
- activate consciousness and manifestation
- brings harmony to body's energy flow
But mind you that any meditation harvests the absolute result only when you perform with full focus and knows the technique to bring back your mind from wandering. It is very difficult for a beginner but eventually, that is the practice of meditation all about. Meditation can be done creatively but there is no limitation or contradiction provided you have the intention to start and maintain. Moreover,it is not just a practice of shutting your eyes and remain idle for some time but meditation is a marathon to mind to keep fit and manage life in more harmony.
