I believe this is a good expansion from handphones where the telecommunication developer might think for a bigger screen and larger storage so there tab comes. Those tabs are equipped with a cellular function where you can handle phone calls just like phones, while the others non-cellular; meaning just for storage and internet usages. You may get a simple or standard usage from RM 300 to RM 500 but the latest one with bigger storage and multiple functions cost more than RM 1500.00 to RM5000.00.Apple and Samsung are two gigantic international telecommunication developers trusted most by Malaysian when purchasing tablets. This does not imply that those other brands are not preferred but those two brands statistically put on success may be due to intense marketing, newer programming, reasonable pricing and many factors related. On the other hand, what is the real reason for people buying tablets when the latest phones and convenient laptop in hand?

There are several things to consider before buying a tablet :
- Decide on the size. Usually, 7 to 10inches but 1920x1080 pixels resolution are ideal
- Choose based on your needs or purpose eg for assignments, office tasks, business and many others
- Compare the apps or operating system whichever you find convenient for your needs
- Let it be cost-effective and very much within your budget
- Choose if you needed just for internet usage or for both cellular and internet usage
Of course, the brand, weight, storage convenience, recommendation and many other factors come into concern but listed above are the most crucial criteria to weigh before purchasing one.
