Days Of The Year:Fresh Veggies Day
Vegetables contribute a major portion to our diet and health too. We are encouraged to eat a huge portion of vegetables to maintain a smooth body system as emphasized in the food pyramid. Many prefer to push veggies aside from their plate especially children. Probably they dislike the dry, the bitter and plain taste of certain veggies instead of tasty fatty chicken, nuggets, fries and many other non-vegetarian delicacies.

- Buying fresh veggies from the nearest farms.
- Cook healthy meals with veggies to share with your friends and family.
- Teach younger kids on the benefits of consuming veggies to body.
