Think Beauty: Heat Training
Heat training is typically a process of repeatedly straightening natural hair with heat. It is usually achieved from a hot comb or flat iron. This helps to loosen hair's curly texture over time by breaking down bonds. The hair might look fabulous right after ironing it, but once it may be temporary or permanent with addition conditioning. Some women tend to do hair training frequently, from week to week or even day to day basis. Over time, the hydrogen bonds in the hair weaken, so hair became less and likely to revert.
Not to surprise that many ladies are eager to do hair training for some reasons as follows:
- helps to solve pesky single strand knots or detangling feels like an extra chore
- diversity in styling
- boost confidence
- damages the hair shaft, permanently disturb the authentic curl
- causes dryness, hence hair fall
- premature greying
- vulnerable for dandruff
It is someone's choice or preference to style their hair for their personal reason but it is best to opt protective measures as below:
- use shampoo with conditioner
- use hair protectant or hair oil
- trim your hair regularly
- do not iron the same area twice
- avoid the usage of a hairdryer
- mix 1 tsp of apple cider vinegar with 2 tbsp of olive oil with 3 eggs to apply over hair, wrap and leave before 30minutes before wash it off
- mash a ripen avocado, mix with egg white to apply at hair
- massage hair with some butter
- massage hair with some warm olive oil
- apply sandalwood oil over hair
