Beyond Mat:Do's and Don't In Yoga

 


Practising or learning do's and don't helps one to improve and build the confidence level. Also, it saves time and gives a better result, especially in physical training like yoga.

What should you DO in yoga?
  • Wear comfortable control, not too tight or loose
  • Practice in a cool and calm environment
  • Keep body straight
  • Focus or concentrate
  • Apply props whenever possible
What are the DON'Ts?
  • Food avoided at least 4 hours before
  • Never practice when sick
  • Avoid difficult pose when menstruating
  • Avoid jerky movement, so perform slowly and steady
  • No rounding of the back
