Beyond Mat:Do's and Don't In Yoga
Practising or learning do's and don't helps one to improve and build the confidence level. Also, it saves time and gives a better result, especially in physical training like yoga.
What should you DO in yoga?
- Wear comfortable control, not too tight or loose
- Practice in a cool and calm environment
- Keep body straight
- Focus or concentrate
- Apply props whenever possible
What are the DON'Ts?
- Food avoided at least 4 hours before
- Never practice when sick
- Avoid difficult pose when menstruating
- Avoid jerky movement, so perform slowly and steady
- No rounding of the back
