My Story:Tripurti Part 7
"Yeah, true enough!Between are we getting any local people to guide us in Tripurti?"I just wonder if Aadhi managed to get someone there to help since no one ever willing to share the mystery or any single piece of information regarding the place."I found a person called Asam, seem like his provenance but even he acts extremely superficial over my queries. He just told me to came over there and get to know more about Tripurti provided we are allowed by the head of the village. This fellow keen to harvest some penny since he is jobless so I'm very much doubt on trusting him.
"Owh!What a difficult path it could be? Getting a useless helper and permission from the village head, God knows how helpful he will be? Seriously, I'm being a little hopeless and doubt if I would be able to fulfil this task since the route looks very climacteric to me."
"Come on Sharma, you have decided to venture no matter what it will turn, am I right? Or else you wouldn't travel far from your place to pen on this mysterious land. Cheer up, girl!"
Thanks, Aadhi, he pacified me a little but I'm still wondering on how to accomplish the task well but I do not wish to return with an empty-handed. Such situation never crossed my life ever before so this gives me a mixed feeling but I have come this far to uphold my promise to my dearly demised editor, probably his last wishes before leaving this worldly life and probably I could find some link between this place and his sudden death.
Aadhi stopped the car closer to a jungle track, it was almost 6pm when the sun setting its way to doze off. A young boy probably at his 16 walked towards us with a warm smile and shook Aadhi's hand. While they talk, I took my things from the car and sauntered to them.
"Sharma, meet Asam, remember the person I told you?"Aadhi introduced me to Asam while he strolled his handphone."Hi, Asam nice to meet you? Do you know English, can you understand me?
"He can speak Tamil only, but no worries I can be your mediator, "Aadhi assure. I feel ashamed at this point of the moment for not learning Tamil despite being an Indian but I got no time to regret longer since my job seems much complicated.
"We are going to follow Asam across the jungle, it will take about 30minutes but he promised to bring us in the right track there. I will leave the car in the coffee shop over there so they will help me to send it over to the travel company. I just have one backpack to carry, I may help you to carry your belongings," he portrayed a real gentleman to my eyes with his sensible talk and helping hands."Thanks, Aadhi, just this luggage. I can hump others, no issues!"
We walked following Asam, he kept track of us so we don't get missed in the dark forest. The view of the mini waterfall, fallen big tree barks and chirping birds caught my attention while I'm following their steps and hope I don't see any wild and dangerous creatures. All of sudden a white fallow deer ran, not far from my sight. I never saw a white deer in my life, not in any form so it exhilarates me. My path changed towards the deer, I started to march towards the deer. It looks so beautiful and attractive, somehow pulled me towards its mesmerizing look. An old lady with long hair, unkempt look appeared before me which put me in great shock. My efforts to search both friends went into failure, I'm glued before her and my voice sunken to myself."Get lost from this place. The danger is awaiting to relish you! Run for life now, take my words seriously."She turned and walk over against me, disappears as the deer did. A huge scary creature double of my size sat over my head and tried to engulf me with its horrifying look.
"Please help me! Aadhi! Asam! Where you guys? Leave me, leave!
