Days of The Year:Happy Menstrual Hygiene Day!

May 28th observed for Menstrual Hygiene Day worldwide which was launched by Germany based NGO WASH United in the year of  2014. Menstruation still remains the subject of shame in any parts of the world. Improper sanitary pad identified as the major concern in menstruation hygiene. Many women are still modifying cloth piece into sanitary piece due to various cause including economical status, myths on a sanitary pad, poor education and many others which possibly threaten menstrual hygiene.

What can we do on this day?
Befriend with a teenage girl as she will be at the early stage of puberty age and teach her on how to observe menstrual hygiene including proper sanitary pad usage and disposal, vaginal cleanliness and keep track of her menstruation.
